Exclusive German full-grain cowhide
Less than 5% full-grain cowhide imported from Germany is selected. Boasting
outstanding tear and abrasion resistance, the leather gains the essence to develop
one-of-a-kind natural patina as time goes by. This breathable genuine leather eliminates
friction and physical compression entirely, keeping your beloved dog's skin gently cared for
at all times.
Litchi grain
The pebbled litchi grain is the surface of the hide itself, not a pattern
pressed into a corrected finish. It is gentle on pets' skin without chafing, and it takes
handling marks as patina rather than damage.
Hardware
Reinforced metal hardware throughout, in a nickel finish — including the star
buckle that gives the Arc its one-thumb release.
Run a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs,
and keep two fingers underneath it. That single number decides the size. Between two sizes,
take the larger one — every piece adjusts down further than it adjusts up.
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and let it dry at room temperature, away from a
radiator and well away from a hairdryer. Heat drives moisture out faster than the fibres can
recover, and that is what makes leather crack.
Twice a year
Work a neutral cream in with your fingers rather than a cloth. Use less than you
think — leather that looks wet has had too much, and over-conditioned leather loses the
structure a harness depends on.
Salt
Sea water and gritted winter pavements both leave salt in the fibres, and salt
keeps drawing moisture out long after the piece looks dry. Rinse with clean fresh water after
a beach walk, then dry slowly.

Unused non-custom items qualify for free-of-reason returns within 7 calendar
days upon delivery.
Custom engraved products with pet names are final sale and non-refundable &
non-returnable.
Condition
Merchandise must be kept in original condition: hardware protective films
intact, leather surface scratch-free. Original packaging and complimentary gifts shall be
returned together; return shipping cost is borne by the buyer.

FAQs
No. The hide is fully tanned and colour-fast before
it is cut. A brand-new piece worn in heavy rain on a white coat may transfer very slightly
in the first week; a damp cloth removes it and it does not recur.
For walking, generally yes — a harness spreads load
across the chest instead of the throat, which matters a great deal for flat-faced and
small breeds. We make the Collar for identification and for evenings, not for pulling
against.
Twelve, including spaces. Please check the spelling
carefully — engraved pieces are made to order and are final sale.
Yes. The Mark hangs on a nickel carabiner that opens
with a thumbnail and fits any D-ring up to 12 mm.
Not yet. The XS Collar and the Mark suit a larger cat,
but we do not recommend the Arc — a cat harness needs a different geometry and we would
rather not make a compromised one.

Accounts are not connected in this build of the site. When they are, this is
where you will find your orders, saved sizes, return labels and the pressing history of every
Mark you own — so a replacement can be pressed identically years later.
We collect what an order needs and nothing else: name, delivery address, email,
and the text you ask us to press. Payment details are handled by our payment provider and
never reach our servers.
We do not sell data. We do not share it with advertisers. If you subscribe to
the journal you can leave from the link at the bottom of any email, and that deletes the
record rather than suppressing it.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. An order is accepted when it is dispatched,
not when it is placed; if a piece turns out to be unavailable we will tell you and refund in
full.
Personalised pieces are put into production as soon as the order is confirmed,
which is why they cannot be cancelled or returned once made. Please check the spelling before
you order.
Photographs show the actual product. Leather is a natural material, so grain and
tone vary between pieces — this is a property of the material, not a defect.
